On my installation of Metztli, I found using the deadline scheduler and turning off all swap really sped things up with no stability issues.

In terminal as root:

1 echo deadline > /sys/block/sda/queue/scheduler

2 swapoff -a

It would be nice if you could give some pronunciation hints for any words in this Linux in Nahuatl, the Aztec language.

Having used it, I think Reiser4 will be an important and uniquely useful Linux file system. Thank you for your contribution and congrats.

Niltze, Per!

I am quite busy at the moment and I don’t know when I will slow down. Sorry.

However, in a chance I will give a try to your Drupal 7.38 (or higher version) under OS/2 and I will let you know how it performs –and if there are issues that could be worked around.

Thank you for the time you took to leave a message.

This is a great “How to"! I now have php5.4 and mySQL5.1 up and running. Since there are new versions of Drupal available since this “how to” was written I thought I should try with drupal-7.38. However, when opening the “install.php I get the following: “system requirements page for more information.’; exit; } // Start the installer. require_once DRUPAL_ROOT . ‘/includes/’; install_drupal();” Any idea how to proceed with this? Or should I try an older version of drupal?

Hola, what’s up?

I really like this blog/page, y es un orgullo ver mexicanos trabajando en este tipo de sector como el IT. I’m not really savvy on IT stuff (yet I know its really important!!), but I think your implementation of the Nepohualtzintzin as “digitized” is very cool.

Would love to hear what you think, you have my email and I hope you can share your thoughts and/or send me your email so I can put you on my “email newsletter".

My apologies to Ed Sutton and Ranjandas for my blog being “unreadable.” I simply used the default skin font.

I mostly use Open Source like Mozilla IceApe/Seamonkey and IceWeasel/Firefox and I did not detect issues with the font readability. Nevertheless, using Google Chrome and Open Source Chromium browser, I realized the approximation to hand written default skin font was hard to read.

I downloaded and installed the following font that I hope will make the content easier to digest –if not shout at me again :)

Best professional Regards.

1) First, are you using the operating system OS/2?

2) “Will, when I downloaded always prompt ‘no directory specified’,”
.–>When you download what? And from where?

I need to know more info to be able to help you.

Thank you for your comment.
