    Alse, inclusion of non-free firmware in the netboot d-i is a must!

    Remotely provisioned Buster extX LVM preconfigured server had no CDROM device nor
    bootable ISO image support via available KVM/VNC environment.

    Precautions:
    Make a backup of the original /etc directory as it contains important
    info of the preconfigured automatically provisioned server -- especially the
    /etc/network/interfaces file which may be recycled after a successful
    Debian 11 installation -- as the below cited procedure will leave your
    Bullseye with no network connectivity upon reboot after successfull
    installation.

    I carved out a ~300 MB slice from the preconfigured swap partition;
    subsequently formatted slice to JFS and I copied into my 'Metztli Reiser4 z'
    -enhanced installer netboot ISO image.

    Again, below is the tepito [snippet] that I wrote to /etc/grub.d/40_custom file
    to boot Metztli Reiser4:

    then executed (wielding root privilege): update-grub

    Gateway was local ip (netmask 255.255.255.255), i.e., required 'pointopoint'
    field currently not valid nor enabled in Debian Bullseye GUI d-i. Thus, during
    the manual network configuration I left the gateway entry blank and
    proceeded until the 'Choose a mirror of the Debian archive' menu entry
    was highlighted.

    I then scrolled down in the menu to highlight 'Execute a shell' entry
    and, subsequently, manually typed directives:

    ip route add default via <gatewayip> dev <devicename>

    After exiting the shell, I proceeded to select the previously highlighed
    menu entry, 'Choose a mirror of the Debian archive', and the network installation proceeded.

    Overview of procedure was recorded/edited/redacted; indeed, I had a degree of difficulty
    typing text into the VNC/KVM GUI -- which had noticeable
    latency/redrawing/capturing the keyboard events. Also the link contains
    four Cyrillic chars, Вики, which some browsers may have trouble
    accessing if link not enclosed within double quotes:
