Below is the serial log output from a successful very first1 boot of my custom Metztli-Reiser4, ~ 2 terabytes root file system formatted in reiser4/Zstd compression, into the Google Compute Engine (GCE) KVM -based cloud fabric.
Uploaded my 2.6 GB metztli_reiser4_2TB.tar.gz containing my 2 TB VirtualBox 5.1.32 disk.raw custom image.

Please be aware that probably due to the reiser4 / Zstd compression feature in the 2TB root file system, the procedure takes several hours to complete on Google infrastructure. Although I saw similar output as below I allowed several more hours for the procedure to complete:

It takes approximately 6+ hours for the PENDING notice before it becomes ready.
Once GCE image was ready I decided to try it out with very modest compute and memory power (as I am paying for all these operations ;-)

Please note that for security of anyone using my custom images, I delete on purpose /etc/ssh/ssh_host_* files from the os image and the reghostkey.sh script directs Debian to regenerate those:

Then Google Compute Engine (GCE) begins its magic operations, expanding the image onto this LA zone, setting up and booting the Metztli-Reiser4 2TB AMD64 OS image -- a procedure that takes nearly six(6) minutes to complete (you may verify by scrolling to the end of this log).
