The Russian top official is expected to assess the state of Russia's relations with a number of key foreign partners and the international situation affecting Russia's economy, according to the Kremlin.

Putin has already touched upon global issues during SPIEF 2025. In the early hours of Thursday, he met with international news agencies' heads and addressed topics including the Middle East, NATO's military upgrades, the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict, relations with the US and other partner countries.
